Instec Names Kevin Mason Chief Strategy Officer

Instec (Naperville, Ill.) has promoted Kevin Mason to Chief Strategy Officer. In this newly created position, Mason will be responsible for shaping and executing business and product strategies, ensuring that the company continues to deliver increasingly greater value to its customers.

“Kevin has played a pivotal role in establishing Instec as a leader in the insurance programs market,” comments Ray Simon, CEO, Instec. “As we grow our business in other segments of the market, he will ensure our products and services reflect a deep understanding of our customers’ business and technical needs.”
Mason joined Instec in 2008. Most recently, he held the position of Executive Vice President, responsible for sales, marketing, and product strategy. He has also led product development and account management. Exposure to both the innovation and market-facing sides of the business have uniquely positioned him to guide strategy, according to an Instec statement.
“By operating at the intersection of business and technology strategy, I will be helping Instec clients enhance competitiveness, create new sources of economic value, drive revenue growth, and increase productivity,” comments Mason. He will report to CEO Ray Simon and remains an officer of the company.
